I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. When I was growing up, my family divided their time between Little Rock and the Arkansas Ozarks. I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Washington University in St. Louis.
Currently, I live in Utah with my husband and our two young sons. I’m the author of two novels, The Possessions (2017) and Girl One (forthcoming). My shorter work has appeared in publications including The Guardian and LitHub.
I love: weird mysteries, long walks, Kate Bush, ghost stories, Shirley Jackson, Sour Patch Kids, the smell of rain on a hot day, bad puns, and reading in bed too late at night.
